Xfin Base takes the same IP principles that form the core of the Xfin Trunked MPT 1327 system to create a totally new concept in conventional base station technology – a conventional base station that’s software and IP controlled, enabling a truly distributed solution for in excess of 100 conventional base stations and in excess of 50 Dispatch stations – a conventional base station that is in all regards quite unconventional.

Solar 25 Economics
Simulcast technology synchronises duplicated channels in a wide area network to avoid interference between adjacent radio sites. Solar 25 Digital VoIP signals are better defined and more consistent than their analogue counterparts, enabling the synchronisation task to be ‘processor controlled’.
This advantage revolutionises the economics of simulcast deployment and support; enabling automatic set up and remote management to replace specialist knowledge, costly test equipment and reduced on-site maintenance. SDB670 DMR Base Station
Supporting instant push-to-talk voice communications and VoIP telephone connectivity as well as open-standards applications support, the Simoco Xd digital base station is more than just a radio repeater. Each SDB670 forms the bridge between groups of radios and extends this to the world of IP.
The SDB670 builds on the highly successful and widely deployed Xfin blade, combining RF elements and control intelligence in one box for a unique architecture that has been proven in systems from a single base station to many hundreds.
Solar 2 builds on the success of the Solar-Sync principles of a straight-forward plug & play Digital IP Simulcast and Voting solution, extending this capability to enable compact integration of Traffic Manager, Voter and Network Modules in a single 1U chassis together with full remote management and Traffic Manager resilience.
The system consists of Network Interface and Traffic Manager Modules, which can be selectively deployed in the 1U Chassis to achieve the desired network solution. The compact form factor and modular architecture means Solar 2 can be more effectively deployed in a small system desktop and larger network solution environments, where rack space is at a premium. Traffic Manager, at the heart of the system, provides voice routing, redundancy options and supervision, whilst fully duplex Network Interfaces provide connectivity of remote stations and dispatch consoles to the IP infrastructure.
