SDB670 DMR Base Station
Supporting instant push-to-talk voice communications and VoIP telephone connectivity as well as open-standards applications support, the Simoco Xd digital base station is more than just a radio repeater. Each SDB670 forms the bridge between groups of radios and extends this to the world of IP.
The SDB670 builds on the highly successful and widely deployed Xfin blade, combining RF elements and control intelligence in one box for a unique architecture that has been proven in systems from a single base station to many hundreds.

SB2025NT-T/N P25 Simulcast/Voting Base Station Repeater
The SB2025NT-T/N Simulcast Base Station offers market leading P25 performance in a robust, reliable yet compact 2U form factor. Designed and built to exceed industry standards, the SB2025NT-T/N is a spectrum efficient solution, perfectly suited to wide areas of coverage.
Building on the plug and play principles of analogue Dalman simulcast systems, SB2025NT-T/N integrated simulcast and voting controller offers enhanced resilience and full remote management of base station networks, while interfacing in a cost effective, compact component based P25 system.
SB2025NT Overview
- Simulcast technology synchronises duplicated channels in a wide area network to avoid interference between adjacent radio sites.
- Digital VoIP signals are better defined and more consistent than their analogue counterparts, enabling the synchronisation task to be ‘processor controlled’.
- SB2025NT-T/N incorporates an RSSI voter which can operate in talk through mode with simulcast transmit.
- Easy to deploy base station, with intuitive set up and simple remote management.
-
SB2025NT-C Compact P25 Base Station
The SB2025NT-C Base Station offers market leading dual mode P25 conventional and analogue performance in a robust, reliable yet compact 2U form factor. Designed and built to exceed industry standards, this base station features a digital fixed station interface (DFSI) enabling economic deployment and simple remote management.
Performance & Reliability
The combination of advanced component surface mount technology, rugged machined module casing and optimised PA heatsink, ensures that the SB2025NT-C base station offers outstanding performance and reliability under the harshest conditions.
The sensitive receiver features a wide switching bandwidth while maintaining good blocking, intermodulation and adjacent channel performance. The broadcast transmitter exciter module has very low spurious emission levels, and is followed by an efficient RF power amplifier.
- Wide range of frequency bands available
- Individual channel programmable parameters, including: frequency, power, NAC/TGID, RF mode and channel bandwidth
- Optional feature upgrades available using software keys
- Easy to deploy base station with intuitive set up and simple remote management

Solar 2
Solar 2 builds on the success of the Solar-Sync principles of a straight-forward plug & play Digital IP Simulcast and Voting solution, extending this capability to enable compact integration of Traffic Manager, Voter and Network Modules in a single 1U chassis together with full remote management and Traffic Manager resilience.
The system consists of Network Interface and Traffic Manager Modules, which can be selectively deployed in the 1U Chassis to achieve the desired network solution. The compact form factor and modular architecture means Solar 2 can be more effectively deployed in a small system desktop and larger network solution environments, where rack space is at a premium. Traffic Manager, at the heart of the system, provides voice routing, redundancy options and supervision, whilst fully duplex Network Interfaces provide connectivity of remote stations and dispatch consoles to the IP infrastructure.

Solar 25
Simoco Solar 25 is the latest ‘Dalman Inside’ simulcast product to be developed by our specialist simulcast engineers at Dalman Labs. Leveraging over 25 years of dedicated simulcast engineering, research and development, Solar 25 now extends the benefits of Dalman’s revolutionary simulcast over IP to the P25 environment.
Solar 25 Economics
Simulcast technology synchronises duplicated channels in a wide area network to avoid interference between adjacent radio sites. Solar 25 Digital VoIP signals are better defined and more consistent than their analogue counterparts, enabling the synchronisation task to be ‘processor controlled’.
This advantage revolutionises the economics of simulcast deployment and support; enabling automatic set up and remote management to replace specialist knowledge, costly test equipment and reduced on-site maintenance. Simoco Solar technologies extend the benefits of simulcast by removing traditional barriers of cost and technology complexity for customers.

Xfin Base
Xfin Base takes the same IP principles that form the core of the Xfin Trunked MPT 1327 system to create a totally new concept in conventional base station technology – a conventional base station that’s software and IP controlled, enabling a truly distributed solution for in excess of 100 conventional base stations and in excess of 50 Dispatch stations – a conventional base station that is in all regards quite unconventional.

Xfin Blade
The core of the Xfin system is the Xfin Blade unit. Each single channel Blade unit is a replicable system component which when connected together enables the construction of single or multi site Xfin Systems, dependant upon the software option selected. Xfin IP Soft Switch connectivity between Xfin Blades enables up to 32 channel units at a single site and up to 300 networked sites.
IP Soft Switching
Xfin IP soft switching leverages IP Multicast technology which enables network traffic to be delivered to multiple recipients without adding any additional burden to the network. It is this capability that enables the broadcast functionality common in radio communication such as Group Calling to be readily handled within the IP environment.
System Management
A powerful Windows XP programming package enables remote system configuration and diagnostics, call logging and management reporting. Auto-population database and high speed configuration downloads over Ethernet enable highly effective and rapid management either on or offline whilst diagnostics and reporting data can be exported to reporting tools.
