Simoco Wireless Solutions is set to exhibit at IWCE 2017 at the Las Vegas Convention Center from March 27-31

Located at booth #1646 the organisation will demonstrate the very latest in business critical communication technologies, including Simoco Push, which enables users with smart devices; tablets, phones or PCs, to make and receive calls with radio users.

The Simoco Pulse range will also be on display which includes an integrated RTU, Data Modem and Gateway – enabling organisations to deploy SCADA telemetry applications over narrowband Professional Mobile Radio (PMR).

The Simoco SMR solution

In addition to our latest technology, the company will also be showcasing a Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) Tier III network developed using the Simoco Xd solution for Specialised Mobile Radio (SMR) operator Télécommunications de l’Est (TDE). Today’s SMR operators are under pressure to deliver innovation across their networks as users increasingly expect their land mobile radio to offer a rich array of features and applications similar to that which they now take for granted through the use of mobile phones, tablets and other devices.

With Simoco’s SMR solution organisations can provide a feature-rich network using Digital Mobile Radio. TDE has implemented Simoco’s Xd DMR Tier III solution as the infrastructure behind a new SMR network, known as NOMAD. NOMAD is available to users across a number of important industrial and economic regions in north eastern Canada and eastern Quebec. Highlights of the network include full duplex calling, Over-The-Air Programming (OTAP) and push-to-talk (PTT) cellular capabilities.
